Rectangle ads float within the content portion of the page and may be either left- or right-adjusted; the example Rectangle ad on this page is right-adjusted.
Buttons ads are positioned to the left and right of the WoWasis logo at the top of the page, and vertically underneath the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the page.
Things to consider
Ads have maximum impact when they are "above the fold."
The area of the page that is "above the fold" is that portion that can be seen without scrolling; it is the area of the page the user sees when first visiting a particular page.
The amount of a page that is "above the fold" will vary depending on the screen resolution set by the user.
Most users have their screens set to 800 by 600 pixels, or 1024 by 768 pixels; those using the 1024 by 768 pixels setting will see more of the page "above the fold."
WoWasis web pages are implemented using next-generation, fluid screen layouts.
This allows users to view our content on a variety of devices and with a variety of screen resolutions.
In particular, we help users to avoid having to scroll horizontally, thereby enhancing ease and pleasure of viewing.
Fluid layouts also translate well when printed.
Fluid layouts allow the top-right Button ad and the Skyscraper ad to be visible to a greater degree than fixed layout pages, when a user resizes the page.
You can see this effect for yourself by resizing this page and watching how the ads move around the page.
You'll want to consider the positive impact of fluid page layouts when deciding where to place your ads.
